Course Information

The Common Sports Injuries Course is considered one of the essential and advanced programs offered by The Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST). It aims to equip trainees with the scientific knowledge and practical skills necessary to identify the most common sports injuries, understand how to deal with them, and reduce their risks both on and off the field.

The course focuses on understanding the causes of injuries, their mechanisms, and prevention methods, in addition to the basic principles of initial injury management and providing correct recommendations to athletes.

The program is delivered through an online learning system, allowing trainees to study from anywhere and at any time, in accordance with accredited European quality standards in sports education. This makes it an ideal option for enhancing one’s CV with a high-value, professionally recognized international certificate.

Study Duration

The course consists of 10 study hours, which must be completed within a maximum period of one month from the date of registration.

Eligibility for Registration

The course is open to all individuals interested in learning the basics of common sports injuries and how to deal with them.
No prior experience is required, as the content is prepared in a simplified scientific manner suitable for:

  • Beginners in the sports field
  • Sports coaches and fitness trainers
  • Staff working in sports clubs and teams
  • Individuals generally interested in health and sports fields

Study Method and Course Start

The course is provided through the official e-learning platform of the Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST), which is considered one of the leading educational platforms in the Arab world and competes with major European and international e-learning platforms.

Trainees can register and start studying immediately after completing the registration process, with full access to educational content and exams 24/7.

This system offers complete flexibility in learning and helps develop analytical thinking and correct decision-making when dealing with sports injuries in real-life situations.

Exams and Passing Requirements

All exams are conducted electronically through the academy’s platform. Questions are randomly selected from an approved question bank based on the scientific content of the course.

Assessment and passing system:

  • Minimum passing score: 80%
  • Exam consists of 10 multiple-choice questions
  • Exam duration: 10 minutes
  • Up to 3 attempts are allowed for the final exam if the passing score is not achieved
  • Results appear immediately after completing the exam

Graduation Certificate

After completing the course and successfully passing the final exam, the trainee receives an officially accredited certificate from the Swedish Academy of Sport Training (SAST) with the title:

Sports Injury Consultant

The certificate is issued and uploaded directly to the trainee’s personal account on the educational platform immediately after the result is released.
